Ladies, you are all invited to join us for our 3rd annual Summer Book Club!

Each year as we choose a book, we stop and pray and ask the Lord how He wants to beautify the women of City Church through this initiative. What is most needed? Who can we sit and learn from? How can we best catalyze joyful worship in and through the lives of women?

A couple years ago, our text focused on our Identity in the Lord. Last year, we carefully began a conversation about biblical womanhood by engaging with a book written by a wise godly woman. This year, I am asking that the Lord would form us through a wonderful, true narrative about a woman and her family who courageously followed the Lord amidst the horrors of the holocaust. The story of Corrie Ten Boom in The Hiding Place is sure to encourage, challenge, and even change you for your good and God’s glory. 

Mark your calendars and plan to join us for discussion and dessert on Thursday evenings this summer! We will be meeting June 8th, June 22nd, July 6th, and July 20th from 7 to 9pm -ish! Plan to reserve your book at your local library or purchase it for less than $9 on amazon. We will have a few copies, so don’t let the cost keep you from joining the club!
