Women's Summer Book Club
Summertime means many things to many people. For my kids, it means the school is closed and the pool and snow cone stands are open. For the markets, it means watermelon and peaches are in season. For teachers, it means a much deserved break from their hard work. For graduates, it means closing a chapter of life. For Texans, it means sweating in clothes you didn’t intend to sweat in for the next 5 months. For City Church women this year, it means a Summer Book Club!
This summer City Church women will take a deep dive into who God has made us to be as we read Identity Theft: Reclaiming the Truth of Who We Are in Christ. In this cultural moment, knowing who we are in Jesus could not be more important as we are constantly bombarded with unbiblical, worldly propaganda. This approachable, winsome and fresh book doesn’t hold anything back in challenging unbelief, and exposing the subtle distortions of truth regarding identity. Moreover, each chapter is laced with encouraging biblical truth and ends with robust application and reflection questions.

FAQs
What if I can't make it to all of the book clubs? No problem! With summer vacations and work schedules, we know that making every book club might not be possible and that is ok. Just keep reading on your own and reach out to a friend to discuss on the weeks you can't make it!
How should I prepare for book club? Strive to read the chapter and answer the questions at the end before you come to book club, however this is not a requirement to join! Book club won't be the same without you!
Can I bring my kids? Kids are welcome to come to the morning book clubs! Please RSVP for childcare in your weekly City Church email.
