Read- Galatians 6:1-6

Know the Word

  1. What does this text teach us about the gospel, and in what ways should it lead us to love Jesus more?  

  2. What does it mean to fulfill the law of Christ?

  3. What do you think Paul means by “bear one another’s burdens” (v2) and “each will have to bear his own load” (v5)? How can these ideas work together?

Know Ourselves

  1. What’s the difference between rightful boasting and wrongful boasting? What things in your life can you rightfully boast about?    

  2. We are told to bear our own load and to bear one another’s burdens. Sometimes our loads can become burdens. Are there any burdens you haven’t shared or any loads that are becoming a burden that you need help with? 

Know How to Respond
Individually - Take time to consider if any transgression has you “caught” in its web. If so, to whom in your DG could you confess that? Also consider whether there is anyone you need to restore in a spirit of gentleness.
