Topic: Building a Biblical Worldview

This Sunday, we hit the mountain tops of a biblical worldview and were challenged to make it our own by exploring the Scriptures and letting them answer our deepest and most fundamental questions. Consider these questions and discuss as a group:

  • Everyone has a system in which they view the world or a worldview. What is a part of your worldview? Can you identify ideas, texts, experiences or relationships that have been major contributors?

  • Consider and summarize the narrative of Genesis 1,2, and 3. How does the Bible answer the questions: who is God? Who is man? What other answers have you encountered to those questions?

  • Read John 10:9-10 and Revelation 21:1-4. How does Jesus provide hope for your flaws and your broken experience of the world? Be specific. How do you, personally, seek an abundant life and hope for the future apart from Jesus?

  • Are you sailing the seas of life with a biblical purpose and vision—a sturdy biblical worldview? Share with your group one way you want to pursue and fortify a biblical worldview in this season.

Pray together: Read Romans 11:33-12:5, and take turns praying these truths as a group.
