This Week in Kid City | July 13

Hi Kid City!

This week we learned about how God is GOOD! We learned about the Passover and how God used Moses to rescue his people out of Egypt. Many years later God sent us a forever rescuer…. JESUS! We remember that God is good ALL THE TIME. He is always with us and he is always working for our good.

Read With Us: “God’s people become great” on page 103 and “God’s great sign” on page 123 in the Big Picture Story Bible

Main Truth: God is good

Bible Verse: “Taste and see that the Lord is good” -Psalm 34:8

Activity – This week we see how God used Moses to rescue his people out of Egypt. We know that many years later, God sends us our forever rescuer, Jesus! Review this truth with your little one, then draw an outline of a cross in black marker on a piece of construction paper, cut up colored tissue paper and allow your little one to use a glue stick to decorate the cross with the tissue paper! Together let’s keep our eyes on Jesus, our forever rescuer! 

Memory Verse – “Taste and see that the Lord is good” – Psalm 34:8

Taste- point your hands to your mouth

And see- point your hands to your eyes

That the Lord is good- point up to the sky
