This Week in Kid City | July 27

Hi Kid City!

This week we are focusing on stories. We learned that God is the author of our story! We also read about Joshua and how he led God’s people into the Promise Land! God wrote an incredible story for Joshua’s life, but Joshua knew that his story was not about himself but instead his story pointed to Jesus! This week, we also get to remember that the story God is writing for our lives is not about ourselves, but instead about Jesus!

Below is a list of activities that you can engage your little one throughout the week. It will also be posted to Instagram (@fwcitychurchkids) and Facebook (City Church Kids). 

Main Truth: Our story points to Jesus

Bible Verse: “Taste and see that the Lord is good” -Psalm 34:8

Activity – This week as we focus on stories, be intentional to read or watch your child’s favorite story, you can even make up a story for them to hear! After you engage in a story together, remind your child that God is the author of their story. He is writing a very important story in their life, He LOVES them and he is including them in His BIG story that points to Jesus!

Memory Verse – “Taste and see that the Lord is good” – Psalm 34:8

Taste- point your hands to your mouth

And see- point your hands to your eyes

That the Lord is good- point up to the sky
