This Week in Kid City | June 8

Hi Kid City!

This week we are learning about how God is love and God loves us! We learn more about God’s love for us through his son Jesus. We read about Jesus healing a little girl and a poor frail lady. Jesus came to make all of the sad things come untrue and it all starts with the way he loves his people.  

 Below is a list of activities that you can engage your little one throughout the week. It will also be posted to Instagram (@fwcitychurchkids) and Facebook (City Church Kids).

Main Truth: God is love

Bible Verse: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him, will not perish, but have eternal life” –John 3:16

Prayer Activity – Let’s GIVE THANKS to the Lord for he is good! Grab your prayer Popsicle sticks that we made a few weeks ago and let’s give thanks to the Lord for the people that are written on our Popsicle sticks. You can use the Popsicle sticks that you previously made, or you can make new prayer Popsicle sticks! Simply write someone’s name on the stick and let your little one decorate it. You can pull out a Popsicle stick each day this week and praise God for that person.

Activity – This week we are learning that God is LOVE. Draw a few hearts on a sheet of paper with different colored markers. Use dot stickers or dot markers and have your little one trace the lines of the heart with stickers. If your child is learning colors, you can have them color match their stickers with the color marker you drew the heart with. As they are playing, remind them that God is LOVE and that God loves them!
