This Week in Kid City | October 5

This week we are memorizing Psalm 23:4 (CSB). 

Verse 1:

The Lord is my shepherd; I have what I need.

Verse 2:

He lets me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside quiet waters.

Verse 3: 

He renews my life; he leads me along the right paths for his name’s sake.

Verse 4:

Even when I go through the darkest valley, I will fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff – they comfort me.

PLAY
This week take advantage of your time in the car with your little ones! Ask your children to practice Psalm 23 with you and make it a game. Ask them if they want to say it fast or slow, loud or quiet, or even with their silliest voice! 

PRAY
As you pray with your children, praise Him and thank Him for always being with us!

PREACH
Find a time this week to remind your children about how God is always with us! When we feel lost, alone, anxious, or nervous, we can trust that God is near and there is nothing to fear in him!
